The two, as an exclusive duo, have been on somewhat of a hiatus, taking time to work on other projects such as Hearts of Palm. Pete Turner, founder of the chain, had a dream of having his favorite bands, Lucero and Built to Spill, play a show for all the people that have helped make his company a success. ![]() On Sunday, September 6th, the Colorado-based Illegal Pete’s burrito shop threw its employees the best 20th Anniversary party imaginable: a concert at the extraordinary venue, free to all it’s employees and their families. Red Rocks has been putting on unbelievable shows for over a hundred years, and is one of the most indisputably iconic venues in the United States. We recently had the joy of experiencing an unforgettable concert at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO.
